The Committee

Steve Johnson

President

Steve was the stand out candidate for the role of president when Ken Leach decided to step down at the end of the 2010/11 season. Steve began his refereeing career almost by chance as, in his footballing days, the referee of a match involving Steve's team at the time didn't turn up so it was up to Steve to take charge and from there he never looked back. He passed the next referees' course and since then he has acheived a lot in his refereeing career, most notably he was given the accolade of referee of the year in the Wythenshawe Sunday League.
